Walking Dreams is brought to life by a small, dedicated team spanning documentary television, cinematography, and post production. Our crew includes veterans of CNN, ESPN, History Channel, and Discovery, bringing decades of unscripted storytelling experience to this deeply personal project. Together, we’re a team as committed to authenticity and accessibility as we are to craft.

Sylvia Longmire

Director | producer | narrator

Sylvia is a documentary filmmaker, award-winning accessible travel writer, and screen/voice actor. She is also a service-disabled Air Force veteran, a full-time wheelchair user, and a disability rights advocate with over a decade of media experience in front of the camera across national and international cable news and documentaries. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times and Lonely Planet, and she’s the founder of the award-winning Spin the Globe accessible travel blog.

kori Frederick

Executive producer

Kori Frederick is an Emmy award winning producer, director, and owner of Snappy Dino Productions based in NYC. As a documentary director and producer, her work can be seen on Netflix, Vice, National Geographic, and as a show runner for Food Network, Discovery Channel, YouTube Originals, Magnolia Network, Complex, ABC, Condé Nast, and Animal Planet. Her body of work reflects a deeply story-driven approach and spans the gamut from complex topics like social justice, incarceration, immigration, and gun control to joyful and lighthearted entertainment focused on food, family, travel, and exploration.

Anthony Buzzetti

Field producer

Anthony Buzzetti is a documentary producer and writer whose work spans investigative and character-driven nonfiction across major networks and streaming platforms. His credits includeAmerica’s War on Drugs (History Channel), Black Market: Dispatches (Viceland), Eyewitness WWII: Invasion Italy, and the CNN/Great Big Story documentary series on the Cicada 3301 internet puzzle. On Walking Dreams, Anthony supports story architecture, development strategy, and narrative structure.

Shallon Chapman

Director of photography

Shallon Chapman is a cinematographer and director of photography with extensive experience in documentary and unscripted television. Her credits include Strength Will Rise (2023), Flip My Florida Yard, and Walking Dreams, where her restrained, intimate visual approach centers participants with dignity while subtly evoking the boundary between waking life and the dream state.
